Chicago Cabbie Driver Discharged Home.

The Ghanaian cab driver, Mrs. Bebe Gikunoo, who was hospitalized following an explosion of what Chicago Police sources alleged was caused by a firecracker she ignited has been discharged home to recuperate .

Sources close to the family said she is recovering well from her injuries and receiving a lot of support from friends and family members. Ghanaweb was reliably informed that her hand has not been amputated but she might have lost a finger or two.

Mrs. Bebe Gikunoo has been an active member of the Ewe Association here in Chicago and the Ghanaian community in general. Her name is synonymous to Borborbor and cultural dance performances organized by the Ghana National Council and the Ewe Association here in Chicago.
