GSE ends barely changed

Accra, Aug. 31, GNA - The GSE All-Share Index, the main market indicator, ended nearly sideways, inching up by a mere 0.1 points at the end of another quiet trading on Wednesday. The index ended at 4,842.33 points from Tuesday's close of 4,842.23 points.

Change for the year-to-date ended slightly better at -28.77 per cent.

There were three price changes, all positive. Enterprise Insurance Limited gained one cedi at 5,007 cedis, Fan Milk Limited was better by five cedis 15,040 cedis and Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited was also one cedi richer a 6,101 cedis.

Shares traded slumped to 59,000 from Tuesday's close of 905,700. Market capitalisation improved to 92,013.53 billion cedis from 92,013.24 billion cedis from 3,381.22 million shares.
