Center To Train Ghanaian Startups

...on Business Financing and Valuation

Having realized funding is a major challenge to Ghanaian Youth Entrepreneurs, and Startups, a Ghanaian Firm, the Ghana Center for Entrepreneurship, Employment and Innovation is organizing a one-day workshop to introduce Ghanaian SME's, Startups, Entrepreneurs, Graduates, Youth to modules on Business Financing, How To Be Entrepreneurs, Combining Technology and Business, Driving Sales and Increasing Revenue and exposing such firms to Funding options that exist in Ghana and across the sub region in helping to grow startups in Africa.

It Will Be A Three Hour Program starting at 9:00am at the Oak Plaza Hotel along the Spintex Road on the 13th of July 2013 with a large representation from Ghana’s Leading Financial Houses and Youth Oriented financing schemes with partners such as the Ghana Angel Investors Network, Slice Biz(a crowdfunding firm/ winners of $10,000 Apps4Africa prize in Ghana), Access Bank, Ghana StartupCup(Business Development Investment firm), Dream Hub, Trust Consult Ghana, Clak Impressions(Google's number 1 online marketing firm in Africa), Popout Ghana-Social Media Experts among others. Heads of these institutions and more will take participants of this forum through training to enable Ghanaian and African Startups scale up to meet global demands while creating products that solve basic needs. Startups who attend this event can get instant funding, be featured on start-upnews.com and get on-the-spot business advice for free.

Consequently, a web portal known as www.start-upnews.com will be launched to profile Ghanaian startups and create a medium to attract funding for such firms by looking up their portfolios while telling their stories to the world. If Startups from Ghana such as Dropifi, Claimsync can go global and be adopted by Sillicon Valleys elsewhere, then it necessarily means there is hope for Ghanaian Youth, if the right information on funding is provided.
