Accra, July 13, GNA - The Ghana Stock Exchange (GES) ended the week on a positive note as the All-Share Index, the main stock gauge, closed the day up by 5.86 points.

The index ended at 5,340.20 points from 5,334.34 points. Change of the Year to date was better at 6.68 per cent from Thursday's 6.56 per cent.

Market capitalisation closed the week down at 129,000 from Thursday's 1.637 million shares.

There were eight price changes, all positive. CAL Bank's rise continued with GH cedis 0.0001 at 0.3093 GH cedis, Ecobank Ghana was 0.0002 GH cedis at 1.4567 GH cedis, Enterprise Insurance picked up 0.0005 GH cedis at 1.0255 cedis, Ghana Commercial Bank was 0.0001 GH cedis at 0.6821 GH cedis, Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited inched up by 0.0009 GH cedis at 0.9580 GH cedis and Patterson Zochonis gained 0.0004 GH cedis at 0.7205 GH cedis.

Standard Chartered Bank was 0.0003 GH cedis richer at 18.0620 GH cedis and SG-SSB went up by 0.0230 GH cedis at 0.8500 GH cedis. Market capitalization ended the week higher at GH cedis 11,502.42 billion GH cedis from 11,498.90 million GH cedis.
