Greater Accra schools to rock Accra

Over 20 Junior High Schools will on Saturday, March 17 rock the national capital, Accra with anticipated competitive qualifiers in the Greater Accra Region Milo Junior Balls Basketball Competition at the El Wak Stadium, Accra.

Defending Champions Air Force Basic School will seek to defend their title against the possible title contenders like Base Workshop JHS, Great Lamptey Mills School, Ridge Church, Garrison, Achimota, Cosmos, Calvary and debutants Lincoln International School JHS.

With the regional competition in the Eastern and Central Regions over with the respective champions for the national competition selected, much attention will be on the Greater Accra event for the winner and runner up to book a place in the finals.

The National Championship fixed for April 13, will see the Eastern Region represented by Roman Catholic JHS and Akosombo International School, whilst the Central Region will be represented by Mfantsipim JHS and 2011 champions Catholic Jubilee JHS.

The 2012 Milo Junior Ball is being sponsored by Nestle Ghana Limited and organized by Rite Multimedia-leaders in basketball development and promotion in Ghana.
