Joe Frazier finally resurrected

In an interview with Joe Frazier whose real name is Andrews Adjei, he declared that, he chose to name his latest album “RESURRECTION” because he has been out for a while and now back.  “It’s like I paused for some time, but now am back” he said.


The album which is made up of nine songs, includes “Right Now”, which is played on TV Stations especially Net 2 and has really had lots of viewers dancing to its beats as well as its unique video. Watch video: Right Now by Joe Frazier.  He further intimated that he worked very hard and tirelessly to produce the rhymes, the lyrics, and the messages that cuts across and that for him makes this particular album so unique and brand new. “If you have this album, you have a brand new Joe Frazer” he said.


When weekly Fylla asked about what drives him to produce his kind of video clips, he responded that “whether u are a musician, footballer, boxer, actor or actress you are all entertainers and in order to produce these videos, it involves real thinking, planning, being unique and doing something extraordinary”.  He added that; “you can’t be always be one way and so far as people are saying something about Joe Frazier, whether positive or negative, its entertainment and you have to entertain those who are watching you. So I racked my brains and came out with that concept” he disclosed.


“RESURRECTION”, is Joe Frazier’s fourth album and it has interesting songs like “AGYA KOO”, YAA MAAME”, and “FANTE”. He expressed optimism that his album with reference to his third track “RIGHT NOW” was produced for the international market because I love to sell my country therefore I rap in Twi so that they will know that I am a Ghanaian and even though they do not understand his song, the way he is flowing with the beats will make them love the kind of music. His songs cut across to both the youth and the elderly, because most of it focus on social issues thus gets the attention of all and sundry.


Joe Frazier who has been singing for eight years now was inspired by his late Father who was a musician thus, motivated him to pursue his music career. Also, his younger brother is a musician “you can say it is in the family “he disclosed. Joe Frazier who has worked with Abrewa Nana, Castro, Obrafour, Okyeame Kwame and Adane Best concluded by advising the up and coming musicians that not to give up easily because this life is not easy, with respect, hard work and coupled with prayer everything will be fine.
