Asaase Aban plan to burn the competition with 2nd album…well loaded with Castro, Screwface, King A

It’s been four years since the last Asaase Aban album was heard of, but the GH. hiplife boys are amazed with the outcome of the “Nana Yaa” album which is poised to take them places beyond their imagination.

Asaase Aban had enormous albums sales, heavily rotated videos, hit songs and a bevy of tours thus making Yooba B, Walker and Drasty announce their presence again.

Lately the industry has been buzzing about a possible comeback by the boys, I was personally surprised when Yooba B, lead member of the trio gave me a call that he wanted a spot on the site.

“Unity and understanding each other has been the fuel running through us for four years now” Yooba B said jokingly, dismissing talk of any breakups.

The hiplife trio made up of Samuel Akman a.k.a Yooba B, Richard Danso a.k.a Drasty and Felix Walker a.k.a Walker were popularly known by their “Sokode” and “Logoligi” song label their album a “mixture of all type of songs,” which appeals to all ages.

As the media buzzes about ‘wack lyrics’ in hiplife, they gleefully feed their critics with good rhymes on songs like ‘Nana Yaa’, ‘Seplepe’, ‘Daben Ba’, ‘Odo Yewu’,’ Laimomo’ and more.

This album brings a new side of Asaase Aban to the public that is now they are now matured and want to deliver only matured stuff to their die-hard fans.

Glossy production and good beats from Jay Q, Appietus and Red Eye of 2 Toff, some of the best sound engineers in the country adds a totally new style and feel that can be compared to best hiplife albums on the market now.

Screwface, Castro, King Ayisoba, Babylon and Astony add a nice edge to the album to contribute to what Asaase Aban already has. Together they come together and make a real nice album.

Hiplife fans may know their name and face, but now they are rolling with more flamboyant family members — the Hot Boys Entertainment (their record label) .

Kobby, an Asaase Aban spokesperson said there are plans of shooting more videos in addition to the new “Nana Yaa” video.

Asaase Aban will definitely generate some sparks when the album is dropped in mid October this year.
