Okyeame Quame Graduates From Better To Best

After releasing his incredible poetic albums, the once leading man of ex Akyeame group Okyeame Quame has left no stone unturned as success has fallen on him. ?

Quame Nsiah Appau, a twenty-nine year old whom many people know as Okyeame Quame was born into a family of eight, one girl and five boys including his parents. His father was an accountant and the mother, a tutor. His entire dream was to become a professional musician though his parents wanted him to become a doctor.

He attended Kumasi Anglican Secondary school and there, he took some lessons in music but it was his literature master that really encouraged him with his words. He started writing music in the primary school and started performing on stage whilst in secondary school,

He has been in the music industry for seven years and has four albums in the name of Akyeame and one solo album titled ‘Bohye Ba’ under his coat.

He has never been in a position of playing a ‘blame game’ but always stands to face his responsibilities as a man, than always blaming people for everything because he always regards his mistakes as a stage in life .

Some months ago, he was in Italy with Batman to perform and it was marvellous. The three-award winner wishes that all his colleagues in the music industry would help to lift the name of the Ghanaian music industry high rather than focusing on the money they will get. They should all join hands and pray for the future of the industry in which they have found themselves today.

Aside Quame’s music, he also has a live band and directs video clips. He has also entered the movie industry with two movies (Comforter, Twist and Turns and an upcoming movie titled ‘Sorry For Love’), one TV series and some adverts. Anyway, he is thinking of going to NAFTI to further his education.

Furthermore, he is waiting for his two gifted young brothers to come out with their first albums, which will have eight tracks on the cassette before he comes out with his new album in November this year, which is going to be about his poetry. So let all the fans of Okyeame Quame expect him with something big, which is going to blow their minds off.

For the two talented new guys, they are coming to do something that no one expects and it‘s going to carry us off our hiplife seats to another high classic level in the hiplife music.

They are going to do it like no one’s business. Let us all watch out for this wonderful guys. So far, Quame has featured on so many albums of talented musicians and he thinks that he has achieved almost half of his dream.
