'A Night Of A 100 Stars'

She & Ashitey De Love Boxing Day is a day when presents are exchanged between families and friends. And this time round, the National Theatre decided to give Ghanaians the best gift by hosting the last show at its premises which was dubbed ?A Night Of A Stars?. The show was organized by the National Theatre in collaboration with Ghana?s premier TV station, Metro TV.

The show had a tall list of ?stars? but the interesting one?s were Eboni?s ?We are the children? which was not left out of the program as they pleaded to the audience what they wanted was peace. Joshua Dance Salsa group displayed great stage work as they came on stage next with their colourful dresses.

There was gorgeous display of talent from IndenAfrika who amazed the audience with their style of performing which was playing of flutes and drums.

The show was hosted by the lovely beautiful ladies Anita Owusu and Jackie Ankrah accompanied by Jon Germain and Sammi B who treated the audience to nice jokes.

Next on bill was Von De Sar who made the audience go into a state of shock when, the magician conjured his magical skills.

The Eboni Band made up of Talal Fatal, Ashitey De Love and Eric Antonio sang ?Money & Fame? beautifully to the audience with guest appearance from She. It?s been a long time since we heard from Talal singing and I guess that was his gift to Ghanaians.

Recently in the media, it was known that Ghana could have a female President in the person of Afia Siriboe. Ghana?s number one satirist dazzled the audience to a short period of jokes before leaving the stage for Nana Frimpong, Alabaster Box and Jackie Ankrah respectively.

The National Theatre was really heated up when Essence, the Nigerian female singer treated the audience with her version of ?African Queen? which was ?African Prince?. The females went wild and couldn?t help it but dance along to her music laced with African rhythms and beats.
The show also saw amazing performances from VIP, Sidney and Tic Tac who held the auditorium spell bounded.

The Kings of Highlife flew down to thrill the audience with good highlife music. Other important personalities who graced the occasion were Prof. Nketiah and Joyce Aryee.

All the audience wanted to have was a good show and to see their stars but the show did not leave up at to expectation. Organizers of the show promised a selection of stars in different professions which included artists, pianist, magician/illusionist, hiplifers, highlifers and more but what was we saw was less than 100 Stars performing.

?A Night Of A 100 Stars? was organized to draw down the curtains of National Theatre as its closes for renovations for twelve months.
