This is showbiz

It is emerging beyond doubts that some phony characters who call themselves stars in the music industry and showbiz in general shoot themselves in the foot without due regards its effects on their career or the image of the personality they claim they are. You wonder if they genuinely know the demands of showbiz or what it takes to be a star. How can one wish to be a public figure without being in the public view?

It does not happen anywhere in the world not even in Europe and other parts of the world where there are sophisticated gargets to easily give them any information they want about anybody. It sounds rather immune and infantile to hear a well respected person in society become so petty on platforms which can easily affect their career just because of a simple truth have been said about them. They turn to go wild when something negative is published about them and smile along when it is positive.

One cannot decide to be a public figure and loathe being scrutinized by the media or the public. The media in particular may report both positive and negative stories about showbiz personalities, politicians, Businessmen; Sport stars and anybody who services fall in public domain. But to take a violent and offensive stance on the media for publishing negative stories, smacks of sheer ignorance and blindness to reality.

These phony pretenders we have as stars must go revise their notes and know more about where they are and what they do. Else, they have no business been in the limelight. Fighting the media is like fighting your own family because no popular person has ever survived without the media. The media is a world institute which can never be destroyed by any group or individuals but rather a single media house can destroy a whole country, much less a life time career of an individual or a group.

Don’t any of these occur to all those arrogant visionless people in disguise as stars? May be someone should remember them; the media is the fourth organ of government. Some national orientation will do.

We live in a society of law and order. We live in a world governed by rule and regulations. This is not a world where ones ego and pride annul the most highly respected treasures of civilization. This is not an industry for miscreants who only wants to enrich themselves with no consideration whatsoever, for what happens the day after tomorrow.

We are on a noble path of building up showbiz in Ghana to the highest height. To those who are not ready for the kitchen heat, might as well get out before it become too hot to bear. For sure, every media house is ready to bear any conscience that may come with any story they cover. But it obvious no public figure is ready to bear with the shame that comes with their unacceptable deeds.
