ACCRA, Aug 3 (Reuters) - Ghana Airways said it will take into service two additional DC10 aircraft, one by the end of August and the second by November.

After the arrival of the planes, Ghana Airways will have three DC9 and three DC10 aircraft, the largest fleet employed by the company since 1970.

No one was available at the company to say whether the planes would be puchased or leased.

Ghana Airways said it needed the new planes to expand routes and to improve the reliability of scheduled services.

The government is looking to privatise the state-owned carrier.
