On Friday, May 3, 2024, Ghanaian rapper Medikal sold out the UK's O2 Indigo for his "Planning and Plotting" album concert.

With a capacity of about 2,800, the venue was officially declared sold out a few hours before the commencement of the show.

Ahead of the headliner's entry, a host of artistes, including Article Wan, came through for the opening set of performances, while the MCs intermittently hyped up the crowd with some of their favorite Ghanaian hit songs.

About an hour and 40 minutes into the show, Medikal finally took to the stage to perform some songs from his album, as well as some of his hit songs.

He then brought on stage some of Ghana's biggest acts, including Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, Jay Bhad, Bisa Kdei, and Efya, as well as his former girlfriend, Sister Derby, the latter came on stage as a surprise act.

At exactly 10:50 pm UK time, the curtain was brought down on the show, with the fans calling out for more.

The successful show on Friday meant Medikal joined Sarkodie as the only Ghanaian rappers to have sold out the O2 Indigo.

The show received largely high reviews on social media platforms X, Facebook and TikTok.
