I'm on the same level with Neymar and Haaland - Lil Win

Ghanaian actor and ex-footballer, Kwadwo Nkansah, better known as Lil Win, has claimed that the only players who are on par with him in football are Brazilian player Neymar and Man City striker Erling Haaland.

Lil Win had a stint in football with the Ghanaian Division One League side, New Edubiase, where he featured in a couple of matches.

After experiencing a taste of domestic football, the actor has concluded that he is one of the best players to have graced the football turf in Ghana in recent times.

The comic actor disclosed that he is so adept with the ball at his feet that he often gets fouled by opponents in matches.

"I'm the best striker; if I have the ball, you will have to foul me. I have good turning and speed, and across Ghana, I am the number one best player," Lil Win said in an interview on Accra-based 3FM.

According to the comic actor, based on his observation, "Neymar and Haaland are my colleagues in football. No Ghanaian player is on my level."

He added that although opportunities like corner kicks and set pieces often get squandered in matches, he makes good use of those chances.

"In Ghana, we don’t make good use of corner kicks and set pieces, but abroad, it’s a goal. If I’m in a match and there is a corner kick, it will surely be a goal," he added.
