Ghanaian player Fatawu Issahaku joined the Leicester City Championship open-top bus parade that passed through the city.

After suffering relegation from the Premier League on the final day of last season, they bounced back by topping the Championship League. The Foxes secured the top spot in the Championship with an away win at Preston North End.

Crowds came out in large numbers on Sunday, May 5, 2024, for the parade, which travelled through the city centre.

Fans flocked to pay tribute to the team as Jamie Vardy led celebrations at the front of the bus, alongside Marc Albrighton and summer signing Harry Winks.

Fatawu Issahaku and his other African counterparts at the club joined the procession and entertained the fans during the parade.

In a video shared on the club's official account, Ghanaian winger Abdul Fatawu could be seen waving to fans while remarking, "We are outside; the champions are outside."

Fatawu Issahaku has been in sensational form for the Foxes since moving to England, scoring seven league goals and providing 13 assists.
