'Capitalize on the momentum' - Kansangbata urges NDC members to campaign door-to-door

Members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have been encouraged to seize the current positive energy surrounding the party and engage in an effective door-to-door campaign leading up to the December general elections.

Abu Kansangbata, a former deputy minister who served under John Dramani Mahama, emphasized the importance of using this momentum to effectively promote the party's campaign for the upcoming crucial polls.

In a post shared via Facebook, he urged NDC members to discuss various topics and actively share the party's messages with voters across the country.

"I expect every NDC constituency to capitalize on the momentum and organize numerous house-to-house, door-to-door campaigns. They should also analyze the speech that criticized the NPP government last week, referring to the report available in JDM's office," he wrote.

He highlighted Mahama's leadership qualities, including his focus on health, education, energy, and sanitation, as well as his modesty, honesty, and sincerity as a transformational leader who values tradition and culture as integral to participatory governance.

One of the key campaign messages of the NDC for the 2024 general elections is the proposal for a 24-hour economy in the country.

The running mate of the National Democratic Congress, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, has also been vocal, promising that the next NDC government will ensure the prosecution of all individuals found guilty of corruption in the current administration.
