AFC Bournemouth head coach Andoni Iraola has confirmed that Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo will be available for their game against Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday, May 4.

Semenyo was injured and stretchered off in the final minutes of Bournemouth’s 3-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion.

Speaking ahead of their game against Arsenal, Iraola disclosed that the Black Stars forward has recovered in time and will be in the squad for the game against Arsenal.

“I was surprised as the next day he woke up, he was feeling better. The knee was not so swollen; we could have some hope with him. There is news this week that the MRI has been clear, so Antoine has been doing some things with the team this week.”

“Everyone was not even delighted after Sunday; Antoine is an important player for us, a very good character, everyone loves him; this is very good news for us. He’s going to be involved in the squad, and this is the best news for us this week.”

Semenyo has netted eight goals and two assists in 30 league games this season for Bournemouth.
