Protect your son, otherwise, he might turn into Funny Face - Big Akwes to Medikal’s mother

Ghanaian actor Big Akwes has expressed concern over musician Medikal's divorce announcement, highlighting the numerous personal challenges the artiste is currently facing.

He suggested that Medikal's mother should be vigilant and consider involving a marriage counsellor to guide her son.

In a video posted by Marigyata on Instagram, Big Akwes warned that without proper support, Medikal could face a situation similar to comedian Funny Face, who is said to be dealing with mental health issues as a result of marital problems.

"Medikal's mother needs to rally support for her son to prevent potential troubles. He has confessed to using marijuana, which poses a risk if discovered by the police.

"Moreover, without addressing the problems Medikal is facing, he could experience a situation similar to Funny Face. I recommend his mother should assign him to a marriage counsellor for advice. Without caution, she might regret it. Remember, a word to the wise is enough," he advised in Twi.

These remarks follow Medikal's social media outburst against his estranged wife, Fella Makafui, and an incident where he claimed she reported him to the police.

The dispute reportedly stemmed from Medikal's request for Fella's cousin to leave their shared residence.

They are now engaged in a legal battle over their home and daughter's custody.
