Ghana's Seidu Rafiwu has successfully completed his Guinness World Record attempt for the longest walking marathon.
Rafiwu started his four-day journey from Techiman to Accra in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest walking marathon.
He covered a distance of 383 kilometers in an attempt to surpass the USA's Jesse Casteneda's 48-year-old record.
The Techiman resident concluded his walk-a-thon at Ghana's Independence Square on Tuesday, April 30.
Rafiwu expressed confidence that his achievement would fulfill the criteria for the Guinness World Record for the longest distance covered on foot.
"Marsha Allah, nothing is going to happen that way. If it does, it is God's will," he told Joy Sports.
He added, "Yes, I will still try [If not successful]. As a man, you do not give up."
