In a dominant display, FC Kaiserslautern clinched a resounding 5-0 win over Eintracht Braunschweig in Bundesliga 2, with German-Ghanaian winger Aaron Opoku netting a late goal to seal the victory.

Opoku made his mark off the bench, coming on in the 71st minute for Kenny Prince Redondo at Fritz-Walter-Stadion.

Anton Donkor, another German-Ghanaian talent, took to the field for Eintracht Braunschweig. FC Kaiserslautern controlled the game's tempo, maintaining superior possession and launching numerous shots on target.

Marlon Ritter shone brightly for FC Kaiserslautern, achieving a hat-trick with goals at the 36th, 48th, and 69th-minute marks.

His initial goal came from close range, set up by Almamy Touré, followed by a spectacular long-range effort. Ritter's third goal, assisted by Kenny Redondo, capped off a swift counter-attack.

Daniel Hanslik added to the tally with a left-footed strike from distance in the 53rd minute. The match saw its share of drama when Almamy Touré received a red card for violent conduct in the 57th minute.

Despite being a man down, FC Kaiserslautern didn't relent, and Opoku's 76th-minute free-kick, finding the bottom right corner, put the final touch on a comprehensive performance.

Over the season, Opoku has made 23 appearances, scored three goals, and provided one assist for FC Kaiserslautern in the second tier of German football.
