Pay in Ghana with MTN Mobile Money
You can make MTN Mobile Money payments either at a merchant or by your self if you have subscribed for this service. Use the following procedures to make payments.
On the Phone (SAT)
- Go to MyMTN
- Select MobileMoney
- Go to Pay Bill
- Select General Payment
- Under Payment code, enter the following: Code space and number e.g GW 1001234
Verify the details of the code on the screen (phone) - Press Pay now
- Enter a suitable Reference (eg G Mensah)
- Enter the amount
- Confirm payment details
- Enter your MobileMoney PIN
You will receive an SMS advice after a sucesssful payment.
Some registered Mobile Money subscribers do not have the ablove process on their phone: rather, they have the process indicated below, hence, customers can always confirm which of the process they have.
On the Phone
- Dial *170#
- Input 2 for Pay Bill and send/reply
- Input 4 for General Payments and send/reply
- Under Payment code enter Code space and number e.g GW 1001234
- Enter amount due for payment and send/reply
- Enter any suitable Reference (e.g. G Mensah) and send/reply
- Enter your Mobile Money PIN and send/reply
