These crooks seems to blame everybody for losing election 2000 beside themselves. This is why NDC will be buried forever in Ghana history come 2004, because they simpy refuse to accept the fact that they abused Ghanaians and respected them. NPP FORWARD EVER

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament of Nkoranza, Mr. Hayford Amoako has said no government can stay in power for more than two terms.

Speaking in an interview with journalists at the weekend in Nkoranza, Mr. Amoako said the policies of the donor communities such as the IMF and the World Bank would make it difficult for any government to stay in power for more than two terms.

He said the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank are using Ghana as a show case in the sub-region in terms of democratic rule for other developing countries to follow hence it would be difficult for the NPP to be in power after two terms.

"It would be extremely difficult for any single political party to stay in power for one or two terms. I also foresee that the international communities want to use Ghana as an example in terms of democratic rule in the sub-region."

In spite of the widely held view that Ghanaians voted NPP in power for a change, Mr. Amoako said the NDC lost the last elections due to the pressure the IMF and the World Bank put on them.

He said,"the IMF and the World Bank made things really difficult during the later days of the year 2000. You want money and you won't get, they put a whole lot of impediment on our way. They have a big hand in our politics."

Mr. Amoako said the NDC is going to win the next general elections "hands down." He said if government goes ahead to deduct 2% of workers social security contributions to finance the health insurance scheme there would be hardship
