Baba Armando Adamu aka Armando is a Ghanaian former professional footballer. He plays for the Ghana national team snd has made nine appearances scoring twice.


On 7 August 1999, he made his international debut for Ghana against Jamaica scoring a goal as well. He has 8 caps with one in a 1–0 defeat against Mexico on 1 March 2006 in a Pre-2006 FIFA World Cup International friendly in Frisco, Texas, US. He scored two goals in these eight caps.

Baba Adamu played with the team in the 2006 African Cup of Nations and also played at the 2006 FIFA World Cup. He also scored against Zimbabwe during the 2006 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.

He was selected as part of the provisional 28-man squad for the World Cup but in the end, only a 23-man squad played due to indiscipline. He was not included.
