THE police are still making frantic efforts to identify one of the two boys who was found dead in the under carriage compartment of the Ghana Airways Flight, GH 760, after it landed at the Heathrow Airport in London on November 30, last year.
The other victim has been identified as Emmanuel Duah, 16, from Kakasunaka Number 2, near Ashaiman.A statement issued in Accra on Monday and signed on behalf of the Public Relations Headquarters of the Ghana Police Service, by Mr Kwesi Ofori, said that efforts made by the police to trace the younger victim’s relatives, so far, have proved futile.
It said that anyone with information on the deceased should contact the Director of the Police Criminal Investigations Department (CID) in Accra.The Graphic carried a story on December 3, last year, in which it was said that the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has set up a committee to look into the circumstances that led to the death of two boys, aged 15 and 16, believed to have stowed away on a Ghana Airways flight.
