Bronx, NY -- In a final, majestic ending to the life of Mr. Kofi Nti, the father of Gifty Osei, the New Yorkers bade a lingering goodbye at the funeral rite organized by the highly respected daughter, Gifty Osei. Character couple with goodwill is the trait New Yorkers look for in supporting an individual. So it was inevitable that the funeral of Gifty Osei's father: Mr. Kofi Nti, when it finally came to New York, would be greeted with an effusion of saccharine tributes from AFA inc. (Asafo, Fanti New Town & Amakom Association), Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church, Christian Sisters, Onwi Association and Asanteman Association. But nothing could have quite prepared the innocent bystander for the explosion of honest show of support and overwhelming presence of New Yorkers. Colorful New York Asantefuohene; Nana Anane Amponsah, Ohemaa Nana Abena Manu and elders graced the occasion. The funeral was held at the Cocoa House on August 16th 2008.
