Newark, NJ -- The recent Mother's Day event at the Church of Pentecost USA Inc. in Newark, which was organized by the Women's Movement, NJ district was a rousing success. The three day event (Prayer service on Friday 5/9/08, Dinner on Saturday night 5/10/08, Mother's Day Service on Sunday 5/11/08) was electrifying and very inspirational. The Women and Mothers really showed what it means to be a mother, a wife , and most importantly a Christian. The District Pastor, A.M. Asemnor, and the Newark Presiding Elder, Bonaface Oppong, offered the necessary support needed in order to assist the Women's movement and make the occasion a success. Kudos to the District Women's Leader, Nana Otoo Acheanmpong, for her resilience and presentation of all services including dinner. The three day event was graced with the special presence of the Women's National Leader, Deaconess Patience Agyekum, and Mrs. Faustina Bediako (author of the book "Don't Die Before Your Time, Manage Your Stress").
