Mr Eazi reacts after 'Made in Ghana' questions his friendship with King Promise

Ghanaian socialite Made in Ghana has come under criticism on social media after asking Nigerian singer Mr Eazi and Ghanaian musician King Promise who benefits more from their friendship during a livestream interview. While speaking with the two artistes, Made in Ghana suggested that one of them might be gaining more from the relationship and asked: “Mr Eazi, between you and King Promise, who really dey benefit from the friendship wey you people get?” Mr Eazi responded humorously, questioning the basis of the question. “Why we be friends with benefits?” he replied. Made in Ghana insisted that such situations do exist, saying, “Yeah, sometimes it fit happen now.” ‘This is the will of God’ - Pastor declares as he introduces second wife to congregation King Promise, who was visibly amused by the question, laughed before dismissing it as a “stupid question.” “Wey nkwasia question be that,” he said, using the Twi word nkwasia, which translates to “stupid.” Attempting to explain his point, Made in Ghana recalled how Mr Eazi had gifted King Promise a PlayStation 5, admitting that he had been jealous of the gesture. “Who is benefiting more? Because, baba, he bought you a PS5. I was jealous. I was in Dansoman, I was jealous,” he said while pointing at King Promise. Mr Eazi, however, maintained that neither of them benefits more than the other, describing their relationship as one built on mutual support. “It is mutual. We have a symbiotic friendship,” he said. The exchange has since generated mixed reactions online, with several social media users criticising Made in Ghana for framing the close friendship between the two musicians as a relationship in which one person benefits more than the other. @gh_streamers MadeInGhana Asks King Promise and Mr Eazi Who Benefits More From Their Friendship During an IRL Stream, but Mr Eazi Calls It a “Symbiotic Friendship”! 👀😂🔥🇬🇭 @_madeinghana_ #foryou #fypage #xybca #blowthisupforme ♬ original sound - Ghanaian Streamers 🇬🇭 PAT/EBSource: www.ghanaweb.com
