Samuel Boadu moves to fix Aduana defensive lapse ahead of All Blacks clash

Aduana FC coach Samuel Boadu has identified a defensive weakness he wants his players to eliminate when they face Swedru All Blacks in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday. The Fire Boys have won their last two matches, including a notable victory over Asante Kotoko, but Boadu believes there is still room for improvement in how his side responds when opponents have possession. He revealed that his players sometimes allow opponents too much time on the ball before attempting to close them down, a situation he has been working to correct ahead of their next fixture. “I learned that sometimes during the match, we allow the opponent players to control the ball before we close them down. But I told them that won’t help. “So I’ve been working on it, and I believe that going into the All Blacks game, that will not happen again.” Aduana will host All Blacks at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park as they chase a third successive victory and look to strengthen their title credentials. The Fire Boys suffered defeat in their opening home game against FC Samartex but have since recovered with back-to-back wins. All Blacks, meanwhile, head to Dormaa seeking to end a two-match winless run. The Black Magicians have managed only one victory this season, with that result coming on home soil, and will be searching for their first away win against an Aduana side gaining momentum.Source: ghanasoccernet.com
