Sports Ministry hands GFA seven demands after Black Stars crisis

The Ministry of Sports and Recreation has issued seven key demands to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) following a high-level meeting on the state of Ghana football and the recent struggles of the Black Stars. The meeting, held on Friday, October 2, comes after Ghana’s disappointing start to the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, with consecutive defeats to Côte d’Ivoire and The Gambia. Carlos Queiroz subsequently left his position as Black Stars head coach. The Ministry is currently demanding the dissolution of the Black Stars technical team and all existing national team management committees as part of a proposed restructuring of the national teams. It has also called for the establishment of a National Technical Management Committee, comprising two government-appointed experts and two GFA nominees, to provide technical oversight. $56K Commission and More: What we know so far about NSA visa scandal Here are all seven demands: 1.
