Ghanaian boxer Seth Gyimah, popularly known as Freezy Macbones, has made history after defeating Nigeria’s Godday Appiah, popularly known as ‘Zodsolo’, to become the WBO Africa Lightweight champion. In a keenly contested bout that took place in Lagos, Nigeria, on October 1, 2026, it was end-to-end action, with both boxers giving their best throughout to light up the atmosphere and thrill the crowd. Macbones was dominant in most of the rounds, relentlessly throwing punches at his opponent, who fell a couple of times as he struggled against the Ghanaian.
