'They called me Jesus' - Wanluv recounts first church encounter

Ghanaian musician Wanluv has shared his first encounter in church and how he was honoured.
In a video shared on Instagram and sighted by GhanaWeb on October 1, 2026, Wanluv noted that he was mistaken for Jesus Christ during his visit.
Narrating the incident, Wanluv said his father used to invite him to church, but he had always been hesitant.
Subsequently, he was supposed to collect an item from his father in church and that was what finally landed him there.

“I went to my father's house to pick something, but he wasn't home. I was told he was in the church. Before that, my father had been inviting me to the church, but I didn't honour the invitation.
“So immediately I got to the church, the children there started calling me Jesus. They became close to me, so I told my father that he had been in the church for years but was only a reverend, but I have been given the title of Jesus for appearing in church only today,” he recalled.
