Those who make you feel they have your back may destroy you – Keche Joshua

Ghanaian musician Keche Joshua has cautioned the public to be careful about the people they consider friends, particularly those who constantly express love and support.
According to the musician, people who appear to be genuinely happy for you and regularly show affection may not always have your best interests at heart.
Speaking in an interview on Onua FM on September 30, 2026, Keche Joshua warned that some people who hug you, laugh with you and make you feel supported could eventually turn against you.
“Those who laugh with you and those who always tell you they love you, be careful about them. Those who come to you, hug you and make you feel like they have your back, they are the people who will destroy you,” he said.

Keche Joshua further cautioned against placing too much trust in friendships, noting that even people regarded as best friends can sometimes become a source of problems.
“You will understand that having friends and calling some people your best friend is more dangerous,” he stated.
The musician, however, advised people not to rely solely on human relationships for support, stressing the importance of having God in their lives.
“I want you to understand that with all these, you need God in your life. If you have God, with all the hate, you’re still okay,” he added.
