'Even heaven won't make me marry her again' – Driver after wife cheated

A young lady has appeared on Oyerepa Afutuo, a programme on Oyerepa TV that seeks to resolve domestic disputes, to plead with her husband for forgiveness after allegedly cheating on him. The lady, who has been identified only as Nana, claims her husband, Richard, a driver from the Ashanti Region, has cursed her following her alleged infidelity. She is now pleading with him to forgive her and reverse the curse. An excerpt from the show, which has made its way onto social media, shows Nana in the studio while Richard joins the programme by phone to share his side of the story. Richard made it clear that following his wife's alleged infidelity, he was no longer willing to marry her and said nothing could change his mind. “Even if God gives me heaven for free to marry her again, I will tell Him to take His heaven because I have suffered in the hands of this lady. Men don’t cry but sometimes I cry in the room because of this lady. I don’t have any trust in her,” he said on the show. However, Nana pleaded with Richard for mercy and forgiveness, saying she regretted her actions and wanted the alleged curse to be reversed. “I cheated on you and you cursed me, so please forgive me and let us reverse the curse. Please forgive me. I have wronged you, so forgive me, I know I didn’t do well but please forgive me,” she pleaded. He claimed that, at one point, he paid a fetish priest GH¢700 to help reverse a curse he believed had been placed on his wife, only to discover later that she was allegedly having an affair with the same priest. He insisted that he would regret forgiving her. “If I forgive her, I would regret it,” Richard added.
