Enoch Ofori Boamah, former head pastor of the Christ Embassy Youth Church (CEYC), Ghana branch, has recounted his two‑year legal battle with the Ghanaian government.
In a video shared on X and sighted by GhanaWeb on September 15, 2026, Pastor Enoch, popularly known as Erock, noted that he fought the government over a programme he organised during the COVID-19 era.
Preaching to his congregation, he recounted how he attempted to influence the proceedings with money, but all efforts failed.

"I fought governments in Ghana for two years. I was in court with the government of Ghana. For two years, my face was in newspapers in Ghana after I had a major programme.
"Everybody said they should arrest him. He should be arrested. We went to court for two years. You know what it means to go to court every week and show up in church on Sunday and preach," he said.
Pastor Enoch further explained that although people he trusted accepted money with promises to intervene, they ultimately did nothing.

According to him, directives from the presidency ensured that no one interfered with the case.
"In the beginning of the case, anybody we would try to go and see, they would take the money we would bring. They would say they would get back to us. They never got back to us because orders were coming from the presidency that nobody should touch this case.
"Every human being in this world we knew failed us. Every human being we knew in this world could not do anything. And one day, God rebuked me," he added.
