Singer Wendy Shay has expressed disappointment in the Ghanaian music industry, labelling it as a system characterised by favouritism.
In a post shared on X and sighted by GhanaWeb on September 14, 2026, Wendy Shay emphasised the notion that the music industry favours men over women.
According to Wendy Shay, she had always heard that the music industry favours men, but did not realise how serious the situation was until she was informed about how the industry actually operates.
“This music industry does not favour women AT ALL!!! I always knew this, but after hearing what I just heard, it’s SERIOUS!!!” she said.
