Turkey looked like the destination After leaving Spanish side Real Oviedo, Sibo emerged as a target for several clubs following his 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign with Ghana. Instead, another twist emerged. He wanted to speak to his family After arriving in Cairo, reports emerged that Sibo was having second thoughts about immediately putting pen to paper. The midfielder reportedly wanted to return to Accra to speak with his family before making the final decision. Suddenly, a transfer that had appeared almost certain was back in doubt. The possibility that Sibo could leave the camp without signing meant the reported mega-deal was once again hanging in the balance.
