One of the officers also questioned why the facility was selling expired drinks despite a previous seizure of such products at the hotel.

The officer warned that consuming expired drinks could put customers' health at risk and questioned why the management would continue selling them.

“Where is your health certificate? Go and bring it for us to see. The other time, expired drinks were seized at this facility, so why are you selling expired drinks? You are aware the drinks you are selling have expired but you’re still selling it for people to patronize and fall sick.

“Why will you do such a thing? Do you know it's poisonous? If you are offered an expired drink, will you accept it? You won't, so why will you do that to people,” the officer asked.

The officers also expressed concern about the poor sanitary conditions at the hotel, particularly as customers use the premises for dining and other services.

The officer questioned why the management had failed to keep the facility clean, despite the basic cost of cleaning materials.

“This is where people come to eat and even use the washroom but see how the place is unkempt. How much is detergent?” the officer asked.
