A Ghanaian nurse has provided a detailed account of their interactions with Ralph Saint Williams.
"We explained to him, but then he was like he wouldn't sit down," the assaulted nurses said, recounting how they were in the hospital when Ralph arrived. My supervisor then instructed him to obtain a hospital card, but he questioned why, arguing that his name had to be on file.
The nurse revealed that Ralph became irate upon hearing it and requested that they leave all of the patients there in order to tend to him first.
She disclosed, "He was upset because he was informed that it is not done in Ghana and he began insulting us that we don't want Ghana to advance before pulling out the phone."
"But initially I did a pressure dressing for him," the nurse revealed. The blood on his finger, which he claimed was bleeding, had dried up. I simply had to cover it with gauze to reassure him, but it didn't sit well with him. He removed the dressing I had applied to him, so I went up to him and begged him to wait: I had applied a dressing for you.
The nurse claims that Ralph "asked us to leave you" after being informed that there were other crucial patients to tend to.
