Valencia enter negotiations to sign Mohammed Salisu from Real Valladolid

With Ezequiel Garay out for the rest of the season cruciate ligament of the right knee, the former La Liga champions are eager to get a replacement.

Even though the winter transfer window is over but Valencia can still sign a player.

The regulations that would allow the Valencian club to be signed is Article 124.3 of the RFEF Regulations and states: “to exceptionally authorize the issuance of a federative license outside the statutory periods when a footballer causes a sick leave or sickness to carry a period of inactivity for more than five months, as long as the registration of the substitute footballer does not require the issuance of the International Transfer Certificate.”

The talented centre back has been linked to a number of European clubs.

He was expected to move to England after Norwich, Southampton, Everton and Newcastle United all expressed him.
