Norway-based Edwin Gyasi describes Black Stars call up as ‘dream come true’

Aalesund FK Ghana new boy Edwin Gyasi says joining the Black Stars team for the first time is a ”dream come true”.

Gyasi 26, was on Wednesday named in Ghana’s squad for the Russia 2018 World Cup qualifier double-header against Congo in Kumasi on September 1.
The team travels to Congo Brazzaville five days later for the reverse leg and Gyasi says the invitation is a golden opportunity for him to showcase his incredible form at club side.

”I’m happy with call-up to the Black Stars team it’s really a dream come true invitation.”It was my junior brother Raymond Gyasi of Stabaek who heard the news first and called me.” said Edwin Gyasi.
He continued ”My family and I were very excited when they broke the news to me that I have been named in the Black Stars squad”.

”I will make sure I don’t let Ghana down, one thing I can promise all Ghanaians is hard work. I will do my possible best when given the chance to prove my worth and make them happy”. Gyasi told host of Abusua Sports Arena Kofi Larbi [Governor] on Abusua FM.

The former Roda JC goal poacher will be coming to his native country [Ghana] for the very first time in five years since visiting his family in 2012.
