Jordan Ayew's move to English side Crystal Palace is on the verge of being sealed after the Ghana striker missed Swansea City training on Thursday, Ghanasoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The absence of the son of Ghana legend Abedi Pele from the Swans training this afternoon is an indication that the move is on the verge of being sealed.

The Premier League side are desperate to capture the striker as they seek to boost their squad before the start of the the league but reaching an agreement over the move is the sticking point.

Even though Swansea must allow Ayew to move to reduce their wage bill following their relegation to the Championship, the Swans want Reidewald in a part-exchange deal.

This comes after Swansea City manager Graham Potter revealed that talks with Crystal Palace over Jordan Ayew are ongoing.

Ayew is on Palace's list of transfer targets ahead of the closure of the window for Premier League clubs to sign players next week.

Roy Hodgson is aiming to add to his squad and Potter has admitted that Swansea and Palace are talking.

Asked about Ayew moving to Selhurst Park, Potter told Sky Sports' Michelle Owen: "The clubs are talking."
