New Inter Milan recruit Kwadwo Asamoah is focused on helping the team reach the next level after crossing carpets from Serie A rivals Juventus.

The Ghana international has already linked up with the Nerazzurri in training after completing a three-year move last week.

"I feel at home already. My goal is to help the team achieve more than last season," Asamoah said at his unveiling on Tuesday.

"No player can reach these goals by himself, you need to be united as a team and work together. I have experience, but I'm here to keep improving - my teammates can help me achieve this.

"I spoke to the coach, the sporting director and my family. This is a big career opportunity for me, which is why I chose the Nerazzurri. Inter are heading in the right direction and I wanted to be part of this.

"The Champions League is a competition where the best European teams go head-to-head and we want to do well. We have to work hard and progress as far as possible."

Asamoah spent six years at Juve, winning six Serie A titles, four Coppa Italia winner's medals and three Super Cup titles.

"In terms of facing my former teammates, I'm not thinking about that. I'm here to work hard and help my team. I'm not thinking about other players or other teams. You can't focus on just one team, you have to focus on all of them to have a good league campaign," added, the utility man.

"The project with this team convinced me that they want to improve on their achievements in recent years.

"I have played on the left-hand-side a lot, and as a centre-mid too at Udinese. Ultimately, the boss will decide. I'm ready to give my all in order to perform well.

Asamoah will wear the No.18 jersey at Inter.
