Ghanaian midfielder Bismark Adjei-Boateng scored a late winner for Colorado Rapids as they defeated San Jose Earthquakes 2-1 in the Major League Soccer on Sunday morning.

Colorado shot into the lead in the 24th minute after Tommy Smith connected beautifully to Kellyn Acosta's lofty cross.

But San Jose Earthquakes pulled level in the 58th minute through Magnus Eriksson's penalty strike.

With the game set to end in a 1-1 draw, Bismark Adjei-Boateng who had tormented the opponents for the large part of the game, popped up with a superb winner in the 93rd minute.
