Kotoko to release defender Evans Quao in clear-out exercise

Kotoko center-half Evans Quao could be affected by a massive shakeup exercise at the Club as the Porcupine Warriors plans to release the defender.

The 27-year-old according to sources could be affected by the imminent clear-out at the Club.

Quao, who joined the Reds from Medeama barely featured in games last season after sustaining an injury.

The defender’s future with the Club is undecided hence could look elsewhere for regular first team action.

Meanwhile Defender Atta Kusi is also reported to have been released by the Club.

Striker Kwame Boateng, goalkeeper Isaac Amoako and Emmanuel Osei Carlos have all been released by the Club.

Coach Steve Polack is expected to replace the departed players with new signings before the start of the season.
