Asante Kotoko is back in the title race with 6 games to go. The Porcupine Warriors made a double over Liberty Professionals on Saturday.

Dauda Mohammed opened the scores in the first half, his first in the 2nd round of the league. Back from recess, Eric Donkor sealed the win for the Reds. They still sits in 4th place but have closed the gap between them and first placed Wa All Stars to only two.

All Stars suffered a narrow loss at the Cape Coast Swedu Park to Ebusua Dwarfs. Justice Ato Mensah got the only goal of the game. The win has propelled Dwarfs to 8th on the log, 5 points ahead of the relegation pack.

Accra Hearts were left frustrated by Techiman City who sold out a good game in their one all draw with the Phobias.

Hearts took the lead in the first half courtesy Cosmos Dauda, his 9th of the campaign.

A win for Hearts would've a sent them back on top of the league but they managed to throw it away in the second half, allowing Alfred Baah to draw Techiman City level.

Sergio Traguil is bound to be under immense pressure going into their midweek game against leaders All Stars in a top of the table clash.

Aduana got their title chase back on track with a 1-0 win over Berekum Chelsea. Yahaya Mohammed scored the only goal of the game via a spot kick, a controversial call it was, by centre referee Maxwell Hanson.

In other games, Ashanti Gold earned a draw away at the Dawu Park against Dreams FC. Nasir Lamin gave Ashanti Gold the opener and Abeiku Ainooson via a spot kick equalized for Dreams FC.

Bechem United came out as victors in the relegation battle against Inter Allies. Striker Abednego Tetteh got a brace for the Brong Ahafo club who parted ways with Coach Manuel Zachariah after last week's defeat to Wa All Stars.

Finally, the bottom placed club, New Edubiase United drew at home to WAFA. Nasir Lamin and Komlana Agbegniedan were on target for the two sides respectively.

Hasaacas’s week 24 opponent Medeama SC were involved in the CAF Confederation Cup. The miners managed to bag all three points against 5 time African champions TP Mazembe.

All Medeama need to do is to avoid defeat in their last group game away to M.O Bejaia and they will book a historic semi final berth in the Confederation Cup.
