Baba Rahman happy to rejoin Black Stars

Ghanaian youngster Abdul Baba Rahman is happy to be back into the fold of the Black Stars after over a year’s absence.

The 20-year-old left-back has been called by coach Kwesi Appiah for next month’s Africa Cup of Nations qualification double header against the Cranes of Uganda and Togo.

“I am glad to be back into the team and to help my country with what I have and I expect to get the chance to prove my worth,” Rahman told Goal Ghana.

Rahman who signed for Bundesliga side Augsburg last week from Greuther Furth has been thrice invited to the Black Stars but in each case he was not given a chance to play.
