Black Princesses hit by injury concerns

With less than 30 days to the start of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, Black Princesses Coach Bashiru Hayford is still battling with injury concerns as three of his key players are struggling to gain fitness ahead of the World Cup.

??Defender Linda Addae, Skipper Beatrice Sesu and Midfielder Regina Antwi are still struggling to recover from various injuries sustained when the team took on Nigeria in a warm up game in Abuja [Nigeria] last week.

??Ghana for a fourth consecutive time will be representing the continent at the World stage after participating in the 2008, 2010 and 2012 tournaments.??

Bashiru Hayford, who guided the team to a fourth World Cup appearance, is hoping to get his full squad ready and will be seeking to make the trio who are said to be first team players available for the tournament that kick starts from August 5-23rd .

???Ghana is paired in a tricky Group A alongside host Canada, Finland and North Korea.
