Ex-Hearts player backs Polo

A Former player of Accra Hearts of Oak, James Commey-Bortsie, has called for total support for Mohammed Polo in his quest to build a formidable team that would stand the test of time.
According to him, since Polo became the head coach of the club, he has been nurturing some talented players from the reserve to boost their confidence.
He said the initiative by Polo would soon yield positive results, and therefore urged the fans to offer the coach the needed support for him to deliver.
Speaking to Graphic Sports in an interview, Commey-Bortsie said the initiative of Polo was commendable, but a section of Hearts fans who had personal scores to settle with him, always faulted the coach, with the aim to get him sacked.
“For all the matches he played, he used many of the young players from the reserve side, and the results are there for all to see. What Polo is doing will eventually profit the team because instead of spending huge sums of money to buy new players from various clubs and elsewhere, such monies could be used to invest in other projects that will be of tremendous benefit for the club,” he noted.
