Accam thrilled with Helsingborg form ....

...after scoring twice in a row

Ghanaian attacker David Accam says he is reaping results of his hardwork during pre-season, after scoring his second goal in two weeks running.

The 23-year-old scored the third goal for Helsingborg IF when they crashed third-tier side Torslanda 5-0 in Svenska Cupen on Saturday afternoon.

Helsingborg’s progress to the group stage entirely rested on the former Right to Dream Academy graduate as he scored the only goal of the game to ensure victory over Ljungskile.

However, on Saturday, he grabbed his second goal of the season at the Valhalla IP as Helsingborg cruised to a resounding 5-0 victory over Torslanda.

“I’m still getting into good shape. I worked hard during pre-season and am happy it's paying off now,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com from his base in Sweden.

Accam is expected to play a crucial role in Helsingborg’s Allsvenskan title ambitions together with Ghanaian team-mate Ema Boateng.
