Kotoko, others begin CAF campaign Sunday

Kumasi Asante Kotoko begin their CAF Champions League campaign this Sunday with a home game against Barrack Young Controllers (BYC) of Liberia at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The Premier League leaders will be trying to redeem their image on the continental front after being bundled out of the competition by Algerian side JSM Bejaia last year.

Ghana’s other representatives in the competition, Berekum Chelsea, will also welcome Atlabar of South Sudan to the Berekum Golden City Park on the same day in an attempt to build on their previous sterling performance in 2011.

In the CAF Confederation Cup, Medeama SC will travel to Equatorial Guinea to lock horns with Panthers FC, with Ebusua Dwarfs welcoming Jaraaf from Senegal to Cape Coast Robert Mensah Stadium this Sunday.
