Genoa midfielder Cofie sets 2014 target

Ghana midfielder Isaac Cofie has pledged to help Genoa finish the season on a positive note in the Italian Serie A.

The enforcer returned to Italy after tying the knot in Ghana during the Christmas and New Year festivities.

“I’m glad I married. I had the good fortune to meet a wonderful woman, I feel calm,” Cofie told the club’s official website.

“Now I have to recover lost workouts. I will give my best to help my team-mates in the second half of the season. I have grown up in life and now I have to grow on the field. We want to give our fans a year full of satisfactions.”

Cofie is expected to feature when his side meets Sassuolo this week.
